Bidvertiser: Adsense Alternative?

Bidvertiser is the next Ad Network we will review. At first glance, Bidvertiser looks very similar to Google Adsense. They also pay 30 days after you cash out, but this is where the similarities stop. Bidvertiser has a minimum payout of $10 via PayPal, a lot less then the $100 minimum of Adsense, but they do not tell what percentage of your earnings they keep.

Bidvertiser ads come in a variety of ads, and you have the ability to change the colors on these ads to fit in with your site design. The layout of there control panel is a little awkward, and there is not a lot of help on there site to assist you with building these ads, but once you start looking around it becomes fairly easy. It also seems relatively easy to be accepted into there publisher network.

One great feature of Bidvertiser is that they accept sites with little to no content, and also sites that are entirely flash based. They also base the price per click you get on the popularity of your website, so if you have a very popular site you can earn much more per click. They do this by allowing advertisers to bid on a PPC basis for your adspace. You can also filter the ads they are displayed on your site.

Pros:

  • Sites with little to no content accepted.
  • Flashed based sites accepted.
  • Popular sites receive higher PPC.
  • Can integrate with your sites design.
  • $10 minimum payout.

Cons:

  • Control Panel is awkward.
  • 30 day payout time.

Is Bidvertiser the one where your ppc starts ultra low and you have to build it up?

Unfortunately yes. Bidvertiser is not contextual like Adsense, so in order to get higher PPC you need to have a popular enough site to entice the advertisers to bid on your ads. The advertisers only have to pay just above what the next highest bid is.

For a small site this can be bad, and the ads are not relevant to content so you get less conversions, however for bigger more popular sites this can work to your advantage by causing advertisers to have very high PPC rates.

BTW, if people have not visited the commenter’s blog StakLoaded.net I highly suggest going, it is an awesome blog!

Thanks for the plug! It’s actually stakloaded.net lol

Have you tried Bidvertiser? It sounds like an interesting concept but you’re right, unless a site has massive amounts of traffic it could just be a waste of space.

haha sorry about that, was watching TV while blogging and missed the .net.

The only bidvertiser ads I have tried are the ones in this post. Honestly I was going to review a lot of other ad networks also, but it seems they don’t like the reviews so much and I am having trouble getting accepted on other programs for my blog now. I think I will monetize the site with Adsense, ProjectWonderful and/or private ads charged monthly.

I had bidvertiser on my blog and a few other websites for months, only got $6. With adsense, I did the same and got over $6 in a few days. I believe adsense is better. But, if you have a proxy website or something that has no content, bidvertiser is the way to go. It is pretty easy to use

Yea, Adsense really does a good job for monetizing sites, its just getting people clicking that takes work…

    Hi,

I agree with all of you, adsense is the way to go. Though I found out a lot of spots on my blogs and websites that I would like to fit an ad in, but I already ran out over my Adsense Ads limit. That is the only time I sneak a bidvertiser ad in. As you can mix bidvertiser with adsense under certain conditions which explained in details at http://www.itcomparison.com/blg/advertising/can-i-place-google-ads-on-the-same-page-with-third-party-ads.html
so its totally beneficial and against no one rule to mix.

I hope this will help some one make more money. If so do I deserver a share !!!

    Enjoy,
    Diggmee

Bidvertiser pays very less, though there payout is 10$ there CPC rates are very low as compared to adsense. and i have experience with bidvertiser , they BAN publishers at the end of month giving any reason, while google will ban u next day , if they feel so. :)
